About Liana Khachatryan

Liana Khachatryan (pronounced: Li-a-na Ka-cha-tryan) is a powerhouse Supervising Attorney at West Coast Trial Lawyers, where she leads high-stakes cases from inception through resolution while championing strong, long-lasting attorney-client relationships and advancing the firm’s commitment to justice.

Known for her unwavering dedication to both clients and colleagues, Khachatryan is widely respected within the industry for her perseverance, meticulous case management, strategic insight, and razor-sharp problem-solving ability — anchored by the compassion and empathy that define her practice. She is licensed to practice in California, Arizona and Nevada.

Khachatryan earned her B.A. in English Literature from California State University, Los Angeles, and graduated with honors from Whittier Law School. During law school, she gained rare exposure to complex litigation and forensic investigations through her work in the DNA Unit at the Orange County District Attorney’s Office. She further expanded her legal training as a clerk for the Honorable Judge Clarkson at the U.S. Bankruptcy Court, further strengthening her analytical and litigation skills.

Before joining West Coast Trial Lawyers, Khachatryan practiced at a boutique law firm where she successfully represented clients in bankruptcy litigation, personal injury cases, and contractual disputes — earning a reputation for her determination and results-driven approach.

Khachatryan is also a sought-after legal commentator, frequently providing sharp legal analysis on major media platforms including the BBC, Us Weekly, TODAY Show Australia, Court TV, NBC, and more.

A former professional dancer who trained from age five through adulthood, she earned multiple national titles before pursuing her second passion: law. She now brings that same discipline, focus, and drive to her legal career. She resides in Los Angeles, California, with her family.

While Khachatryan is recognized for the unwavering advocacy she brings to every case, she considers her greatest achievement to be motherhood — raising her daughter, Gianna — a role she says has deepened her patience, resilience, and purpose in ways nothing else has.
